Hypercam 2 software enables you to record video and audio action from your Windows computer screen. While software presentations, demos and tutorials can be composed with the Hypercam 2 software, you must first select the proper settings on your computer. In order to record audio with the software on Windows 7, you must have a microphone attached to your computer. Audio drivers can be downloaded online for the Realtek driver if you do not have the "Stereo Mix" option on your computer. Instructions

Open the software and wait for the interface to load. Click the "Sound" tab and make sure that the "Record Sound" box has a "check" next to it. Click the "Speaker" icon on the lower right hand side next to the clock.

Click the "Mixer" option and select "System Sounds." Select the "Recording" tab in the pop up window.

Right-click the "Stereo Mix" option and click "Enable" from the drop down menu. Right-click and select "Show Disabled Devices" if you do not see "Stereo Mix" on the list of options. Make sure the "Stereo Mix" is set as "Default."

Click back into the software and press the "Record" button. Speak into the microphone and press the "Stop" button when you are done with the recording. All sound will now be recorded when using the software.
